ITINERARY

  • DAY 1

    Delhi-Rishikesh

    When you arrive in Delhi, Sikh Tours’ representative will meet you and take you to Rishikesh via road and arriving at the location, you would check-in at the hotel. The evening is free for relaxing and briefing. 

    Then you can dine and stay overnight in the hotel.

  • DAY 2

    Rishikesh - Barkot

    Post breakfast in the morning; embark on a local sightseeing tour of Rishikesh which include:

    • Ram Jhula
    • Laxman Jhula
    • Swarg Aashram

    Later, we will drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. On the way, you will be visiting Kempty Falls and reaching Barkot late in the evening. 

    Reaching the hotel at night, you would have dinner and stay overnight.

  • DAY 3

    Barkot - Jankichatti - Yamunotri - Barkot

    Day 3 will include the visit to

    • Yamunotri: The source of the river Yamuna and the seat of the river goddess, Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of 3293 kilometres in the Garhwal Himalayas. It originates from the Champasar 
    • Jankichatti
    • 6 kilometres long trek to Yamunotri. It is assumed that uncooked rice is dipped here in the hot water of the Kund and the pilgrims take the cooked rice as “Prasad”, to home.
    • After taking bath in Jamnabai Kund and followed by offering the prayers to Yamunaji; you, along with the other pilgrims, would worship the rock pillar called
    • ‘Divya Shila’ before entering the Yamunotri temple, Later, we will return to Barkot.

  • DAY 4

    Barkot- Harsil

    The morning will allow you to leave by road for Uttarkashi and to drive to Harsil later on. 

    The evening will be free for local sightseeing following the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • DAY 5

    Harsil - Gangotri - Uttarkashi

    This morning, after having breakfast, we will take a road trip to Gangotri. After praying at the temple, you can have Pooja and Darshan at Gangotri temple-located in the 18th century, Gangotri is dedicated to the Hindu goddess ‘Ganga’, located near a sacred stone where Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva.

    Later on, we will return to Uttarkashi and have dinner at Uttarkashi hotel and stay overnight.

  • DAY 6

    Uttarkashi - Guptkashi

    Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Guptkashi- located in the northern Himalayan belt within the Mandakini river valley, which houses lush green forests. The Vishwanath Temple at Guptkashi, being dedicated to Lord Shiva, makes the place a centre of attraction for the visitors/pilgrims. En route, see the heritage city of Tehri submerged into the mighty waters of the holy river Ganges. 

    Later in the evening, you’ll have to get back to Guptkashi and have dinner following the overnight stay at the hotel.

  • DAY 7

    Guptkashi - Kedarnath - Rudraprayag

    • Post breakfast in the morning; take a road trip up to Helipad as per the reporting time
    • Complete the boarding formalities and wait here for your time slot
    • Upon arrival at Kedarnath, perform early Pooja & Darshan at the temple

    1000 years old Kedarnath is one of the four holy places that are covered in the famous Char Dham Yatra Tour Packages by Sikh Tours. It is also enlisted among the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Later, return to Helipad and take the return flight to Guptkashi before you drive back to Rudraprayag

    • Enjoy the dinner and overnight stay at the hotel

  • DAY 8

    Rudraprayag - Badrinath

    After having breakfast in the morning; the tour will include the visit to:

    • Badrinath-one of the holiest temples in Uttarakhand. 
    • Narsingh Temple
    • Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi at Joshimath
    • Badrinath and do Pooja & Darshan at the temple
    • Famous tourist sites in Badrinath such as Vyas Cave-located at a distance of 3 kilometres away from Badrinath temple, Vyas Gufa is a rock-cave where it is believed that Ved Vyas had composed the Puranic commentaries and the Mahabharata.
    • Ganesh Cave
    • Bhim Bridge, an attractive rock bridge in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand
    • Origin of River Saraswati at Mana Village, the last village before entering the Tibetan border. 
    • All of these will be followed by the visit to the temple for holy Darshan/Pooja and to attend the evening Aarti. After that, you would return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy the sleep.

  • DAY 9

    Badrinath - Srinagar

    In the morning, after Mahaabhishek, go for Pooja and Darshan. Post breakfast, leave by road for Srinagar. On the way, we will visit Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnprayag and Rudraprayag followed by a road trip to Srinagar and then dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • DAY 10

    Srinagar-Haridwar

    Post breakfast on the 2nd day, you will leave by road for;

    • Haridwar, one of the 7 holiest Hindu cities in India. Besides being a famous tourist destination in India, Haridwar is also known to be the place where Kumbh Mela is organized annually. 
    • Devprayag. It is the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River. 

    Then check into the hotel and get relaxed. And, visit famous places such as Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temples. 

    In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri and enjoy the dinner & overnight stay in the hotel.

  • DAY 11

    Haridwar - Delhi

    On the last day of your trip, post breakfast, you will leave by road for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be dropped at the railway station for an onward journey.
